OSG round dies are accurate and durable because of our advanced production facilities and many years of technical experience. The dies are differentiate to dies with slot (Adjustable) and without slot (Solid). Adjustable dies are more popular, while solid dies are especially suited for heavy cutting conditions without any measurement changes with consistent thread accuracy.

FOR GENERAL USE
The most common thread cutting dies. Because the thread is adjustable, measurement can be altered. Used by hand as well as by machines. Available materials include SKS and HSS with excellent wear resistance.
FOR PIPE THREAD
For taper pipe thread processing, we stock both solid and adjustable types. The solid type provides stability even in heavy cutting conditions without changes in measurement. The adjustable type allows for minor adjustments of sizes.

FOR STAINLESS STEELS
HSS as the tool material, and a steam oxide coating is applied to resist welding. In addition, the chamfer length and thread length are ideal for stainless steels, These arrangement improves tool life remarkably. Solid dies do not have a slot. Therefore, thread precision and stability is possible by simple arrangements.
